Kinds of Sentences According to Use
There are 4 types of sentences according to use. These are the following:
Declarative Sentence-It states a fact and ends with a period.
Example: He can draw very well.
Imperative Sentence-It gives a command or a request.
Example: Please take care of her for me.
Interrogative Sentence-It asks a question.
Example: What are you looking for?
Exclamatory Sentence-It denotes a very strong feeling.
Example: Watch out!

isn't it that the sentence: watch out is an imperative sentence regardless of the end punctuation mark?
although it expresses a strong feeling or emotion, the primary use of the sentence is to give command.

You're right. "Watch out," is an imperative statement regardless of the punctuation mark. It can also be an exclamatory sentence at the same time, if it has the exclamation point. Thanks for the comment. It is much appreciated.
How about saying: "Could you take care of my puppy?"... is it both an imperative and interrogative sentence? Thanks.
i think it is both an imperative and interrogative sentence. tricky sentences yet actually easy..
